Greetings from planet Earth. Welcome to my humble homepage.

This web-page was first created nearly three years ago in 1995. Have a look at the original HTML script to see how far things have come.

Being a homepage, it is an entrance to a range of websites that I have created. Think of it as somewhat akin to the root directory of your harddisk. There is nothing specific here. For something substantial, choose one or more of the following and click.

Anway, here is a list of websites I am maintaining :

• Heng Hwee: One of two most important ladies in my life. Since my wife does not want her own homepage, my daughter will do the honours.
• SG'4A Examiner: a little newsletter about my former 1983 classmates of 4A in Saint Gabriel's Secondary. Probably also the most frequently updated web-page of the lot, possibly because of the rate of personal updates by this great bunch of people.
• Woodlands Community: a new website I created but have not the time yet to make it really cool.
• HTML playground: here are some cool HTML pages. At least I think so (probably because I created them).
• Friends: list of links to some of my friends' homepages, not the tee-vee-series-of-which-I-ain't-no-fan. The barrenness of the page illustrates how the fad of creating own homepages seems to have died down.
• Lincoln's Gettysburg Address: a somewhat aged but still really neat speech, imho.
• Suffer not in silence: an article by Dr Catherine Lim from Asia Magazine which I read some time back and transcribed it into HTML.
• In Singapore it's routine to massage electorate: another article, this time by Tim Hamlett and more recent, which I found interesting.
• GE '97: some pages of the last parliamentary elections here.
• Some pictures: an experiment into how to overcome the 2 MB web-space restrictions that SingNet imposed on my account. I cannot afford paying for more web-space and would rather not use free web-space offered by Geocities and such.
• Resume: self-explanatory.
• Personal history: the bane of egotistical websters the world over.

One more thing, for those who know a little about me. I have stopped maintaining the Socratic Circle website. Click on it for the new url.
